Finest Materials
Every piece of Atcraft hardware starts as a raw bar of solid brass—a metal renowned for its strength, durability, and natural resistance to corrosion. When you hold our solid brass hardware, the difference is unmistakable—it’s heavier, stronger, and smoother than aluminium or plated steel. Experience the superior quality that sets Atcraft apart.
forged
Forge to Last
Skilled artisans at Atcraft use the time-honoured technique of heat forging to transform raw brass into stunning hardware. By pounding hot metal into custom-made dies, this meticulous process demands more effort and precision than traditional casting, but the result is well worth it—stronger, heavier and extraordinary products that exude exceptional quality and durability.
trimmed
Smoothing Out Rough Edges
Before our hardware reaches its final form, it undergoes a precise trimming process shaping the model's ergonomics. Skilled operators use a stamping press to remove excess metal left by the forge. Next, a specialized machine grinds away all the sharp and rough areas unveiling the smooth, pristine surface of the brass, ready for the finishing touches that make it truly exceptional.

The Finishing Touches
Atcraft hardware is available in over 20 exquisite finishes, offering a full spectrum from glossy to matte and smooth to textured. Whether you seek a clean, minimalistic aesthetic or a stylishly distressed vintage look, each finish is achieved through a distinct, specialized process tailored to your desired style.
polished
Polished to Shine
In the final stage of production, our hardware undergoes a meticulous two-step polishing process. First, fast-spinning wheels erase all roughness, such as scratches or nicks, left by the forge. Then, jeweller's rouge is used to carefully buff the metal, bringing it to a flawless, radiant shine.
